Most babies we deliver are healthy.
However we comprehensively check all newborns for harmful or potentially fatal disorders before they leave the hospital. Newborn Screening is essential for healthy development of the baby.
It involves a simple blood test which indicates whether newborns have certain conditions that may eventually cause problems.
Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC)
Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) is a for babies with low birth weight.
An alternative to other expensive treatments, KMC is a low cost therapy.
It allows you to hold your baby, skin on skin, under the supervision of specially trained medical, nursing, and developmental care staff. It also helps them bond better with their mother.
Neonatal Out Patient
At our Neonatal Out Patient Department we follow up on premature infants, do general baby checks, vaccinate babies, provide feeding advice & educate new parents.
